Chobi

Chobi rugs are also known as Peshawar rugs. They come from an area inhabited by the Turkoman tribes from Afghanistan. Chobi rugs are dyted with 100% natural mineral and vegetable dyes. Hand spun and hand knotted, the wool is from Himalayan sheep. Coloring is in soft and delicate shades only available from natural dye. The patterns have great complexity and sophistication, due in part to the influences of Persian, Turkoman and Afghan cultures.
